Nomination of Mike Basinger (mike) to the Forums Council

The Ubuntu Community council today approved the Forums Governance document, which has been produced with extensive guidance from Ryan Troy, Jono Bacon and members of the Community Council and Forums Community. As part of that, we now have a Forums Council consisting of Ryan Troy, Mike Braniff and John Dong.

We (the CC) will appoint a further two members of the Forums Council, and Mike Basinger has been suggested as a good candidate, with support from some forums admins and staff. This thread is open for discussion on mike's candidacy for the Forums Council.
